What to See From LS ELECTRIC America at RE+ 2026
As energy-storage and renewable-energy projects grow in scale and complexity, project teams need more than standalone components. They need a coordinated approach to grid-ready power conversion, medium-voltage protection and system interconnection.
At RE+ 2026, LS ELECTRIC America will showcase technologies designed to support these requirements across commercial, utility-scale and high-density energy-storage applications. Visit the team at Booth N2420, November 17–19 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, to discuss scalable BESS and renewable-energy architectures from power conversion through medium-voltage distribution and grid interconnection.
A Scalable Approach to Energy Storage
At Booth N2420, LS ELECTRIC America will feature:
● AiON-SIS, an air-cooled string inverter for modular utility-scale and commercial energy-storage applications
● MSSP GEN 2.0, a liquid-cooled string inverter for high-power, high-density applications
● MCSG, metal-clad switchgear for medium-voltage power distribution, protection and interconnection
Together, these technologies can support the key electrical building blocks of an energy-storage or renewable-energy project, helping stakeholders evaluate scalable architectures that extend from DC power conversion through medium-voltage collection and connection to the utility grid or site distribution system.
Flexible, Grid-Ready Power Conversion
The AiON-SIS air-cooled string inverter is designed for utility-scale and commercial energy-storage applications where modularity and flexibility are important. Available in 116 kW and 140 kW ratings, AiON-SIS supports a 620–1500 VDC input range and 400, 480 and 600 VAC output options.
Its string-level architecture helps project teams right-size power blocks, simplify layouts and scale from kilowatt-level systems to multi-megawatt applications. With maximum efficiency above 98.5% and CEC efficiency above 97.9%, AiON-SIS supports high energy throughput in containerized and skid-based energy-storage and renewable-energy systems.
For higher-power and higher-density applications, LS ELECTRIC America will also showcase the MSSP GEN 2.0 liquid-cooled string inverter. Available in power ratings from 150 kW to 220 kW, it supports 1050–1500 VDC input and 480/600/690 VAC output. The platform supports compact, megawatt-scale power blocks and integration into medium-voltage collection systems, with maximum efficiency above 99% and CEC efficiency above 98.5%.
Both inverter platforms support four-quadrant operation and autonomous voltage and frequency regulation. These grid-ready capabilities enable active and reactive power support, helping project stakeholders address evolving grid-support and interconnection requirements.
Supporting the Medium-Voltage Side
Power conversion is only one part of a successful energy-storage or renewable-energy installation. Project teams also must consider how power is collected, protected, distributed and interconnected on the medium-voltage side of the system.
LS ELECTRIC America’s MCSG metal-clad switchgear is available in arc-resistant and non-arc-resistant configurations from 4.76 kV to 38 kV. The portfolio includes UL-listed and ANSI/IEEE-aligned solutions for energy infrastructure and other applications with demanding power and protection requirements.
For BESS and renewable-energy projects, MCSG can support medium-voltage collection, switching, protection and interconnection between project assets and the utility grid or site distribution system. Arc-resistant configurations are designed to help protect personnel during an internal arc event, while the compact design helps customers use electrical-room space efficiently.
