Incoming power, transformers, MV/LV switchgear, UPS, emergency generators, ATS, and IT distribution equipment should be designed as an integrated system based on load criticality and allowable outage time. Single points of failure and redundancy should also be reviewed.
PowerONE is an integrated power solution combining transformers, switchgear, and UPS to provide stable power for data centers. Its configuration should be reviewed against project capacity, redundancy level, installation space, and maintenance requirements.
RPPs, panelboards, or busway can be applied along the power path from UPS output to racks. Select the distribution architecture based on circuit load, future expansion, metering, remote control, and protection requirements. LS ELECTRIC’s Beyond X RPP is designed for IT power distribution, power-quality metering, energy monitoring, and remote branch-circuit control.
Busway can be used for power distribution and expansion in buildings and industrial facilities. Review data-hall expansion plans, tap-off locations, current rating, short-circuit withstand capability, installation space, and maintenance access before application.
Critical IT loads should be supplied through independent A and B paths, with UPSs, switchgear, breakers, cables, and branch circuits designed to avoid a common failure mode. Confirm whether the actual IT equipment has single or dual power inputs as well.
